One of the most important milestones in your life will be your graduation, and at the AsanSka College of Design and Technology your moment of achievement is very important to us. For this reason, the Annual Graduation Ceremony is the single most important event that takes place at the University.
The requirements for graduation include the completion of statutory, theoretical and practical aspects of the programme to the satisfaction of the College Academic Board.
QUALIFICATION FOR DEGREE
- A Student is expected to pass all courses.
- A final year student who fails any course shall have a maximum of TWO YEARS within which to pass the failed course.
- A Student is expected to earn a cumulative GPA of 1.5 or better. (Cumulative GPA shall be the Grade point Average computed from all grades obtained in a programme).
These are summarized as follows:
Students are required to complete a minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) credit hours within this; students shall experience a mixture of taught and practical courses and activities, as well as practical demonstrations throughout the duration of the programme.
The students shall undertake written and practical examinations at the end of each semester through the duration of the programme.
Thesis/ Project Report
Students shall tender or submit a thesis or project report on their chosen areas of research at the end of the fourth academic year.
Students shall mount an exhibition of work on the progress of their study and also the outcome of their research. These include tangible works executed in the course of study and poster exhibitions of research work and findings. This will be opened to all stakeholders of the respective areas and the general public.
